Ahh yes. Rain. You gotta love it.

Kind of experimenting with format and framing - very different from the other streetshots. But hey, did I ever say I was only gonna upload normal streetshots? I think not :P I will upload whatever the hell I feel like =P

I like the lighting and the amount of detail.
Format is nice too, it fits the composition very well.

The Framing is really awesome! Even though it happened by chance, the board/advertisement/thing in the distance in front of the child emphasizes the fact he isn't covered. It also kind of looks like a blurred image of a road, like the child is taking a different path. And, since the mom is stepping forward with her left leg, her body is leaning to the right to compensate, away from the child. That ended up symbolic! Why wouldn't you cover your child!?! ><
Perhaps I read into it a little much, but I really love it!! ^ ^

Really nice. I think the frame kinda detracts from the picture though.

AND. I tried some street photography today. I had to go to London, so I took my camera and got snapping. I was too nervous to take many pictures of people, but I took one or two. I have one up riiight now.

my two cents: i think the border is too big and i agree that it distracts from the photograph. maybe if it was a really slim border it would help; however i really LOVE this image. yet another favorite by you.
