wow fabulous This is my favorite theatre also..even tho Illinois has no has oceans it's still is my favorite..when we were in SC I stayed and watched the sunset for hours over the water it was truely beautiful.
Amazing. The point is, that sometimes pictures of sunsets look too banal and kitch, and its mostly caused by the feelings that the photographer had when looking at the sky(e.g. the soft warm wind, the hiss of waves) are not transformed via the pic.
I've been in that postion of admiration so many times, that I can really feel all the above.
Great interpretation of the pic. Loved it, and the colors...
But you have no idea how ironic that it, not only because I love sunsets and the ocean so much, but also because I have this plastic chair in my backyard that I always go sit in, in the morning and it literally looks exactly like what I do!!!
Man, come visit Skagen with me next time I'm going there. We'll walk right out to the tip of Denmark, where the oceans collide, and watch a sunset better than this! Oh, and remember to bring your chair
Actually, this is shot AFTER I drowned my camera. You see, turning it on again after a swim in saltwater probably wasn't my most clever decision ever, but... I was NOT gonna lose that sunset in a million years. So I turned it on, snapped a few, and then it started making weird symbols and died. I might have sentenced my own camera to death, but I did it in the name of photography! : )
