Shot in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Double-exposure with a Holga on Foma Fomapan 400 120 film.

Scanned, added slight contrast and tone, resized and sharpened.

A big step down the Photoshop-ladder for me, eh?

For whatever reason when I see this I instantly think Alfred Hitchcock 'The Birds' meets Edgar Allen Poe. That is a compliment by the way.

I need to get me one of these Holga's..

Lasse, I love this!

The repetition of birds vs. the repetition of lines/patterns of the building really give that juxtaposition of nature and humanity. The roughness by the grain just adds and give that vintage feel and the use of black and white makes it seem so vintage.

Kind of looks like a WWII poster...
The planes flying over, making the birds fly in terror.
I know they are all birds but the blurry ones look like planes in formation.

hahaha yes, that stuff does tend to happen. once you shoot 35mm film you should get the plastic sheets that hold strips of negatives, you just have to cut them into like strips of 5
