i think this flat out rocks - i know i said in chan this reminds me of x-files but that wasnt a flippant comment, it does look like a well realized concept of an alien abduction. i know some people critiqued you for the focus not being on the guy but i think it works, as naturally the bright light is going to blur out those areas and force your eyes downwards, so someone watching another person heading towards the ship would be looking more at the ground, shielding their eyes from the light with their hands. the colours have a slight hyper reality to them which fits the scene, and the final touch is the leaning trees. superb work!
