It was the last day on my trip, and as I was heading for my train heading back north to Denmark, I walked past two men standing next to one of the entrances to the trainstation. They were looking pretty scruffy and cold, so I decided to go back and give them two sandwiches I had originally bought for the trip - figured they needed them more than I did.
They looked pretty surprised when a young backpacker was suddenly standing there with free sandwiches for them, but decided to just accept the facts and start munching.
I asked them if it would be okay for me to do portraits of them, because I thought they had very unique faces, and rather quickly - probably because of my sandwich-bribe, they told me to go ahead.
These were the last portraits I did on my trip, and I hadn't really thought much about them, because on the camerascreen, they both looked blurry (however this one turned out to be the sharpest of all the european portraits), and I didn't really find any of the two that interesting - but after deciding to give this one a go, I quickly realized, that it would be a personal favourite of mine.
So many unexpected details appeared as I was editing this portrait - but which ones, I will leave for you to find.
I like how only part of his moustache is dark, as if he had blood or some weird fluid coming out of his nose... Was that one of your favourite details too?

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
