Following several failed attempts at convincing the belgian people to let me steal their soul with my devilmachine, I tried my luck on an old couple that I saw walking past me.

Old people are easy pray - they can't run as fast.

I got into a conversation with them, and luckily, they both spoke a little english, the husband slightly better, so he worked as a translator.

I explained to them that I was a danish photographer travelling around Europe, doing portraits of people I met on the street, and that I would like a portrait of both of them. The husband smiled and nodded, but the wife was rather shy, and wasn't so sure about it.

I finally talked her into it, and thanked them both. The man told me they had been married for 60 years (the wife corrected him to 65), and I told them that hopefully that was just the beginning.

They smiled, wished me a good trip, and wandered off.
