'Sheila'

After meeting up with ~rHytHm123 before the Red Sox game later that night, we were walking down the street, talking, when I saw this woman sitting in front of a shop with a little coffeecup with change in it. I took a quick look at her, then returned to the conversation. When we eventually reached the end of the street, we turned around to go back towards the subway to get to the stadium, and when we passed her again, she lifted her hat slightly and we made eye-contact. I told my fellow photographer to hold on for a second, while I walked over to her and threw a couple of coins in her cup, along with a question; 'Would you mind if I took your portrait?'. She asked me to repeat the question, and then asked why I would want to get a portrait of her - and if her purple lipstick was smudged. I told her no and smiled, and she smiled back.

And that's how I met Sheila.
