'Mallwalker'

Scouting the local mall with ~SkipMurphy, we noticed this guy sitting on a bench, just looking into thin air. Before I got to reach for my camera, my phone rang, and when the call was ended the man had gotten to his feet and strolled away. After some slight swearing under my breath for a couple of minutes, the man suddenly returned to the bench, and I got a second chance - this time, a chance I would not let go to waste. I went over to him, and after repeating the question a couple of times to this hard-hearing fella, he finally sat back on the bench and gave me this quirky smile.

The texture of his face gives the appearance of being carved out of stone. It makes me wish I could reach into the photograph and touch the stone-like appearance of the face and feel the different textures it has to offer.

You should send him a print.
:iconnullermanden:
Unfortunately, I don't know his name. Do you ask people for an email so you can send them a copy?

I don't e-mail my hi-res' to anyone, but I do jot down their address and try to mail them a 8x11 copy.

I'm going to start uploading some to my ftp that can be printed into 5x7 or something.

And it helps if you ever want to publish this in a book or soemthing, you'll need a release and know how to contact him/her. And they'll wanna do it for you in return.

He's fantastic.

And I've noticed, both pictures you've taken thus far, the subject was hard of hearing. It makes me chuckle.

I am afraid of sharks, but only in water situations. If I ever saw a shark on the street, I would be like "What? F*ck you."

I love your photography, and I can't wait for more from this series.

This guy looks so interesting... it's a great capture.
