Faroe Islands? Why yes!

Wed Nov 25, 2009, 5:29 PM
Hello again!

A quick update here, from the friggin freezing cold of the Faroe Islands, located in the middle of the friggin freezing cold Atlantic ocean!

Just a quick question: any deviants out there from the Faroe Islands? If yes, come join me for a pint or two in one of the pubs in Tórshavn! I'll be here till thursday the 3rd, so by all means, if any faroe deviants even exist, drop me a note! :)

If not, hopefully I'll be putting up a pretty picture or two in a few weeks, just so you can see what I mean with friggin freezing cold :P

Cheerio!

Hello, my name is Laura and I am doing an A level in photography. I am doing nostalgia as my project and I am planning on photographing old people with a holga. Your images of old people are the sort of thing I am aiming to do. I was wondering if I could use some of your images for annotation use only? I will just be analysing the images, talking about lighting, tone and depth of field etc. Thanks.

Hey Laura!

Of course you can use my photos, I'd be honored :) Mine are all digital though, never tried doing any with a Holga... Let me know how it works out, though!

Cheers,

Lasse

Salut!!
The brutal way you "treat" your portrait is absolutly magic! No futilities, just true in all his beauty....This density take away aspect to only let soul appear...Great job Lasse!
:iconnullermanden:
Why thank you very much  I'm just glad there are more people out there, that consider these kind of portraits beautiful, rather than the plastic-faces on magazine-covers!

And, of course, salut! :giggle:
